An adoptee who found both her maternal and paternal side 17 years ago, I began digging into my new found families past. The journey has been amazing connecting and reconnecting lost and found generations.

  1. So beautiful, but no smiles. =) I’ve been indexing marriage certificates from the early 1900s, and imagining the people getting married, so it’s extra fun to see your family members on that day.

  2. Do I ever love that veil! Having recently looked at bridal gowns and veils with my daughter, I have a better appreciation for all wedding clothing!!!

    1. Nothing tops the veils of yesterday’s year. Enjoy the wedding shopping with your daughter – so much fun and excitement. I am so happy for you and your family – precious time!

      1. Thank you. I think my daughter’s veil will be very very long, but very plain so that the dress itself is what is noticed. It will just add a very transparent layer to the dress, if that makes sense.

I would love to hear from you
